Molly LANDRETH + Jenny RIFFLE first came to focus on photography collaboratively in Mount Vernon, Washington. Together they created a book of self-portraits that explored ideas of sexuality and self-representation in their rural hometown.  That was the beginning.  Now they are once more working collaboratively to create strong, unique portraits in vibrant and unusual spaces.  They have recently received an Honorable Mention for “Editorial Image of the Year,” in American Photo Magazine, as well as an Honorable Mention from the Prix de la Photographie in Paris.  LANDRETH+RIFFLE live and work in Seattle, WA.  They are both film and digitally savvy.
